UV curing is used in conjunction with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining methods. A flexible liner, pre-impregnated with UV-sensitive resin, is inserted into the damaged pipe. Once in position, UV light is introduced, initiating a curing reaction that solidifies the resin and forms a rigid, seamless pipe within the old structure. The process results in a strong, corrosion-resistant lining that can last for decades.
